Carousell - Sell in a Snap. Buy with a Chat.

When we have free time, we shop.
When we have no money, we simply window shop.
When we have lots of money, we buy even more.
When we bought too much, we sell them on Carousell!

Sell in a Snap. Buy with a Chat.

Carousell is a godsend for us shopaholics living in Southeast Asia.
We can shop just by whipping out our smartphones and soon you can also do so on the desktop computer.
When the shops are closed for the day, there is Carousell.
When you want to check the price for an item, you refer to Carousell for the "street price" or "second hand used price".
When you have too much things which you don't need anymore, you list them on Carousell and sell them off.

Carousell is easy to use - snap a few photos and list it on Carousell in minutes. Buying is a breeze, just drop a chat message or make an offer to the seller.
It's so easy that it is difficult not to be addicted to it.

Regular Carousellers will tell you how often they open up their Carousell app to check for messages or search for stuff. It's scary.

More than just providing a shopping experience, Carousell can also be a social platform to meet new people, like blind dates, albeit just for a transaction,
You get to meet all sorts of people, the more you use Carousell. The good and unfortunately, the bad.
Some of these Carousellers can really test your patience....I will identify some of these that I have met and you tell me if they sound familiar.

Join me as I share my experience of being a Carouseller for 18 months, raking up more than 150 transactions since then.

If you don't know what is Carousell, I would be curious, how did you stumble onto this blog?
